What is Somebody Else’s Blues? is an intimate one-woman show that blends poetry, reflection, and candid conversation, inspired by Dr. Rebecca Dupas’ acclaimed book collection of the same name. With eight sold-out performances across the D.C. area—including private bookings for milestone events—the show invites mature audiences into a transformative artistic encounter.
Rooted in original poems drawn from the characters in Dupas’ novel and the introspective prompts from her relationship reflection journal, the performance creates space for audiences to:
